This work provides an overview of the importance recycling PET waste to reduce environmental impact plastic waste, conserve natural resources and energy, create jobs in industry. Many countries have implemented regulations initiatives promote pollution, such as extended producer responsibility (EPR) systems, bans on certain single-use plastics, deposit–return systems for bottles. The article further underscores versatility recycled PET, it can be transformed into various products fibers, sheets, film, strapping. These materials find applications numerous sectors including clothing, carpets, upholstery, industrial fibers.
